Yellow Happiness

The strength of this meadow lies in its contrast. Rendered in grey, black, white, and yellow, this monochromatic abstract artwork allows each colour to stand out as a winner in its own way. Their interaction tells an open story of a meadow where vivid yellow joyfully “screams” against the more subdued, moody greys. 

Creating this abstract piece was yet another adventure. The artwork is visually strong and calm, bringing special energy, sparking imagination, and serving as a refreshing decorative statement for both private and formal interiors.

Painted on a cotton stretched canvas and pre-primed with white gesso, this process allows me to create my signature textured surface before applying and working with high-quality acrylics.

Created using paintbrushes, palette knives, splatters, and a variety of techniques to achieve the desired texture and expressive depth of the artwork.
