“Behind This Meadow” is an abstract painting created from a clear visualisation of what I wanted to express. A slightly dramatic, pre-storm sky is complemented by a field of golden-brown wheat, bringing feelings of warmth, stability, prosperity, and endurance, showing that this does not happen overnight, but only after a certain path and experience emerges.

Painted on stretched canvas, pre-primed with white gesso, which helps me create my signature textured surface before applying and working with high-quality acrylics.

I have used brushes, palette knives and techniques allowing me to create and emphasize the 3D effect and plasticity of the grass and wheat plants.
